Location: Barrio Viejo, Tucson, AZ

This structure was originally the Wah Lung Market but was later converted into the La Suprema tortilla factory. Over time the building fell into disrepair and remained vacant for many years. Our office was tasked with restoring the structure and converting it into the “La Suprema” co-working space. Working with the builder (SW Urban) and structural engineer (Jim Galvin) we were able to stabilize the structure and restore its facade based on historic photographs.
