Lanning Architecture - Practical design for modern southwest living

Bob Lanning:

My name is Bob Lanning and I live in downtown Tucson,  and run the architectural firm Lanning Architecture. My wife and business partner, Kate Hiller, works as a designer in our firm. We have a son named Cole who attends University High School.

I came to Tucson in 1979 to attend the University of Arizona and received my Architecture degree in 1984. I became a registered architect in 1988, and worked in several architectural firms in downtown Tucson until starting Lanning Architecture in 1999. To each project I bring, energy, experience, and enthusiasm. Getting to create buildings and spaces with other creative people, including clients, is immensely rewarding. Our office also includes Stephen Curti, Architect in Training, and Ezra Roati, Registered Architect, making up a great team that brings both skill and innovation to our projects.

Stephen Curti:

Stephen received his Bachelor of Architecture in 2012 from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. He grew up in Tucson, and his love for the desert and passion for renovating works by famed architect Josias Joesler shows in his professional career. Stephen has a keen eye for craft and enjoys fabricating furniture on the weekends. He is working toward licensure and hopes to be registered by 2016.

Ezra Roati:

Ezra received his Bachelor of Architecture in 2011 from the University of Arizona. His passion is for downtown and urban infill projects, with an emphasis on alternative materials. Ezra likes to spend his time tending to his cactus garden, and enjoys spending time outdoors. He is a Registered Architect in the State of Arizona.
